Its been long without and update and again the busy me have been very busy, working with the Pets Far 2010. Now that its over and i have come out of the rest mode and into my working mode again though of updating the blog so here is a few CrAxY words by me again. And also its for someone very special in my life, and hoping that she would make sure that these feelings i express in words will be true and right.

Its time to leave my past behind.

The cruelness the betrayal and the pain aside.

Embracing love care and hope,

Without been in the dark my heart been torn.

Finding light within darkness,

Feeling my soul fill with happiness.

I was watching a documentary on Discovery channel, and something the documentary highlighted caught my attention.

You all must have heard of the Dubai’s “The World”. A number of small islands combined to gather forming the shapes of the continents. Let’s look into a bit about the idea and how this creative idea came to a reality.

The World is an artificial archipelago of various small islands constructed in the rough shape of a map of the landmasses of the Earth, located 4 km (2.5 mi) off the coast of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The World islands are composed mainly of sand dredged from Dubai’s shallow coastal waters, and are one of several artificial island developments in Dubai. The World’s developer is Nakheel Properties, and the project was originally conceived by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai.

Islands in the archipelago range from 14,000 to 42,000 square meters (150,000 to 450,000 sq ft) in area. Distances between islands average 100 meters (330 ft). The entire development is an area that covers 6 by 9 kilometers (3.7 by 5.6 mi) and is surrounded by an oval-shaped breakwater island. Roughly 232 km (144 mi) of shoreline was created. The World’s overall development costs were estimated at $14 billion USD in 2005. When dredging has been completed, there will be 321 million cubic meters of sand and 31 million tons of rock on the Islands.

Aaaah! A lot of money and a lot of sand and rock, a lot of work and a creative dream came into reality. Oh yeah I have made you read a lot right, and did I really mention the CrAxY thing about all this Dubai, The World, miles away from Maldives….. hmm guess not.

Well let me tell you!

Do you know that the key to this project was Maldives? The only reason these 260 islands or so are above sea is Maldives? That without Maldives they could not have done this!

How come? Why Maldives?

And here is why.

When the Sheikh handed over this project, the engineers had one main challenge without which they could not start the project and make the sheikh happy.

Yea! Engineers had to build a barrier around the world to keep everything in the world safe, sheikh made things harder for them; he said the barrier should be very low in order for the islands to see the open ocean. Now how on earth are they going to achieve this? Huge waves, horrible storms, to protect from all of this a low barrier?

The Engineer who was working on this was flying on a sea plane on his way back to Dubai from Maldives when he looked down to see the beautiful islands of Maldives, and that was the moment when he was inspired by the low laying coral reefs of Maldives, keeping the islands safe and in no way blocking the view of the open ocean. YES Maldives is truly an Inspiration.

The idea was simple a stretched out reef with different layers of height, more like a stair case with wider steps. As the waves pass over it, it cut downs the waves power and in the end the wave dies off. Creative isn’t it.

And knowing that Maldives played the most vital role in the creation of a wonder everyone is amazed about, I feel proud to be a Maldivian. The happiness ran through me as I heard it.

And I said to myself “Maldives a true Inspiration”.

Without a clue why, i was awakened from my sleep, disturbed for some unknown reason, with the urge to do something.
That is when i saw the box of pencils and the A4 size papers on my computer table, i realized that it has been too long since i last drew something.
Sleep was far from my eyes, mind was far more attached to the pencils and paper.
Out of my bed onto my chair.

Fighting and clarifying what my mind was actually thinking about i sat near the computer, And then it clicked, Suddenly i knew what i had to do.
It was this beautiful girl that was in my mind, someone so sweet and lovely that her image just had to be captured in my CrAxY Art and saved in my gallery.

My hands went to work, lines, curves, dots, curls, strokes….. and so on. My mind totally capturing the wonderful image of that beautiful girl. Slowly in front of my eyes the picture in my mind came to reality.

A new CrAxY Art born. A beauty brought onto a piece of paper with a pencil using my hands co-ordinated with my mind, Due to some unknown craving born within me while asleep. Looking at the piece of art my mind relaxed the relaxing feeling of sleep hit my eyes, satisfied and happy slowly i crawled into my bed. As i closed my eyes i looked at the drawing in front of me with a sigh i went into hibernation.

Not too good, but i guess its good considered its the first two graffito’s i made using the Face book  Graffiti App. Well i hope all of you like this. And doing so  i guess i just updated ma blog with some CrAxY art.

Thanks all for the comments on my previous one.. More would be coming up as i am learning new stuff and trying to think of CrAxY things..

Hey all, been long since i updated this CrAxY place..well guess this is an update now..so where was i huh ? well i was busy with KS anniversary (KS – Kalaafaanu School) and also helping a sweet girl in some fair in Dharumavantha School, And helping out some children in a few dances… well still stuck up with a few more of those.. and guess what !! as usual i did not have time to update.. so whats the CrAxInEsS this time.. here it goes

I just came to think about this word “Atoll”, Which checked up on the English Dictionary. And i was wondering why Atoll its just not so English like word, and with that i thought i would just do some research on it and then i came to know… to know .. to know.. aaaaaah .. to know… hmm to know.. that it got some deep shit to it.. ekkekekeek.

I came to know that Maldives is a whole lot more – a history going back to at least 1,500 BC, distinctive island culture, and a nation that is struggling to reconcile tradition with modernity. Dhivehi, the Maldivian language, contributed the word “Atoll” (a ring-shaped coral reef) to the English language.

The English Language Extracted this word from the word “Atholhu ” in Dhivehi (an Indo-Aryan language spoken on the Maldive Islands). Its first recorded use in English was in 1625 as atollon. WOW !!! koool huh!! it gets better.

And then a suprise.. do you know the guy named Charles Darwin.. yeah the one who talked about evolution, famous person and a genius huh.. well this dude popularized
the word “Atoll” in 1842.

So we got a Dhivehi originated word in the English Language, also a word which was popularized by one of the most famous people ever lived.

And who ever made the word Atholhu was definitely a Maldivian, and who ever it was may god bless his/her soul, And thanks for getting us a space in the English Dictionary.

Hey all how are you doing… well i was thinkin of what i shall post this time on my blog, cause its been sometime since i posted something here.. well i did get a few ideas but i thought i will share this piece of drawing that i did a long time back well its not much of a work cause i am not too good  with potraits but atleast i made sure she looks like a girl.. muwahhahaa … well i hope she does look like a girl.

OK. now this is my CrAxY concept of this drawing. it shows a girl who is in darkness and in sadness, tears flowing down her eyes, her open eyes seeking for light. And she waits for the time she could come to the lit up world where the happiness she have been longing for is. She waits for the time she can come to the other side of the curtain. where she wants to be.

Aaaaaaaaaah well i guess thats what was in my mind. When i started to draw this.. soo anyways i hope u all like this.. and will try come up with something soon enough …. till then enjoy… and keep on been CrAxY.

Hey all CrAxY is back, its been a long time i know… sorry about it.. craxically busy.. (where ever that word came from ). I have been trying to bring up something, believe me got loads of stuff to post here.. but just not the time.. anyways this is something i came up with.. after thinkin of some really CrAxY stuff… 

Let me name a few of these CRAXY words..

SHOOTINGSTARS, RUSHHOUR, HOTDOG, EGGPLANT, BIRDBRAIN, RESTROOM, STARFISH, JELLYFISH, PINEAPPLE

Ok i guess thats enuf…. hmmm nothin CrAxY about these words.. ? hmm or is there something about these words..

”Birdbrain,is used as an insult but, some birds like parrots are actually really smart”

Hello there…… CrAxY is back with another theory.. oops urmm yeah theory…

i was just working on something on line when i found one of my friends having a really funny pm,

which said something about its better to be dead then be alive or.. like in other words.. the exact moment

would have been much better if she was dead.. funny you see this around a lot don’t you ?

so i ask this girl… why ? and she says she is just in too much stress.. so i thought i need to help her out

so i sat thinking what i can do to make her feel better and my first suggestion for her was…

“Take a deep breath in, exhale out slowly, closing your eyes think of me with a fingure in my nose”

so that made her laugh which gave me the idea.. after all what i say is making people feel

better i think i should make some more of this so that when people are in stress they can follow

this and make themselves feel much better.. so here comes a few i think would be use full for your stress relief..

“Go in front of a mirror.. look at both sides.. make sure no one is around, now look at your self on the mirror,start making faces at your self”

“lay down on a flat surface… looking up lain on your back, move both your hands up and start moving them in the air, move them freely and concentrate on the movement of your hands”

“Get a magazine ( NO dude not that porn mag.. damn.. yeah that one is ok ) sit in a silent corner, start making stripes of papers, keep listening to the sound of paper tearing “

well as for now i don’t have much time to write down more.. but i will surely work on this a bit more

on upcoming articles on CrAxY theories. so till the see your all around..
